FAQ
Everything clients ask before we start
Straight answers on scope, cost, timelines, data and how to judge an agency like ours. Anything else, just ask.
Working with Automatik
What does Automatik actually build?
Custom AI systems and the websites they run on. Funnels that respond to how people browse, dashboards that manage inventory and listings on their own, automated ad and SEO engines. We’ve built for dealerships, tuning shops, nightlife, wrap studios and wellness brands. Not templates, not plug-ins.
Do I need to understand AI to work with you?
No. You bring the business problem: slow lead follow-up, manual listing updates, ad spend that isn’t converting. We handle the architecture and hand you something you can run without a technical team.
How do you handle data and security?
Seriously, and from day one. Every system we build runs on encrypted infrastructure with scoped access, so no tool or team member touches more data than the job requires. Your customer data is never used to train third-party models, never sold, and never leaves the environments you approve. We document exactly where your data lives and who can reach it, and we build to the standards your industry requires rather than the bare minimum.
How long does a build take?
Most projects land between four and ten weeks depending on scope. A focused funnel or automation moves fast, several of our shipped builds took one to four weeks. A full site plus backend dashboard and AI layer takes longer. You get a timeline before anything starts.
What happens after launch?
The system is yours. We hand over full access and documentation, then stay on for support and optimization if you want it. AI systems get better with tuning, and most clients keep us on to do exactly that.
What does it cost?
Pricing is scoped per project, because a single automation and a full platform build aren’t the same thing. You get a fixed number after a discovery call, before anything is built. No hourly billing, no scope surprises mid-build.
Hiring an AI automation agency
What is an AI automation agency?
An agency that designs and builds the systems, AI models, integrations, workflows, that let a business run with less manual work. Unlike software vendors selling one tool, an agency wires your existing tools together and adds AI where judgment used to require a person.
Why hire an agency instead of building in-house?
For most SMBs the math is simple: a build that takes an agency weeks would need a full-time technical hire to even start, and that hire costs more per year than the entire system. In-house makes sense when automation is your core product. When it’s your back office, buy the outcome.
How do I evaluate an AI automation partner?
Ask to see a live system that’s still in production, who owns the system after handoff, what happens to your data, and how the price is set. If the answers are a demo video, "us", "trust us" and "hourly", keep looking. Our answers: yes (see the work page), you, documented per project, fixed.
Can you show a live system you shipped that’s still in production?
Yes, the work page lists shipped builds for Quintessence Auto, AZ Motorsports, EST Wrap, 212 Montréal and Bellaform Pilates, with what each system does. Several run daily operations right now: listing automation, funnels, ad systems and storefronts.
Do you deliver in French to meet Bill 96 and the OQLF?
Yes. Customer-facing systems can ship bilingual by default, French-first where your market requires it. If your website, CRM or automated messages serve Québec customers, Bill 96 makes French-language capability a requirement, not a nice-to-have, and we build for that from the start.
What government grants can help pay for automation work?
Several Québec and federal programs subsidize digital and AI adoption for SMBs, and eligibility shifts often. We flag current programs relevant to your project during scoping rather than promising a specific grant here, bring it up on the discovery call.
Tell us what’s slowing you down.
Five minutes to describe your operation, we come back with a concrete plan and a timeline.
