What is data enrichment?

Adding information to a record you already hold, such as company details or firmographics, from an outside source. It can genuinely improve routing and prioritisation. It also means collecting information about a person that they did not give you, which under Law 25 engages obligations around purpose, transparency and consent. Decide the privacy position first and the vendor second, not the other way around.
